| The
proceedings of the conference, on "International
Business Strategies and Middle East Regional Cooperation" were
published on CD ROM with C.D.I.
System's innovative
NetIS online publishing platform , in association with the
European International
Business Academy and the Graduate
School of Business Administration of Bar Ilan University.
The European International Business Academy was founded in 1974
under the auspices of the European Foundation for Management Development
and in close cooperation with the European Institute for Advanced
Studies in Management (EIASM).
The initiative for this permanent structure was taken after a series
of workshops on International Business, co-organised by the European
Institute (EIASM) and the Centre d’Enseignement Supèrieur
de Affaires (CESA, now groupe HEC).
The Academy is a professional society for academics and practitioners
with an interest in the growing field of International Business.
It is distinct from many other associations in that members come
from a wide variety of disciplines and functional backgrounds and
share the common purpose of using the international context to cross
the intellectual boundaries that so typically divide institutions
of higher education.
The CD ROM includes topics ranging from "Can Economics Contribute
to the Peace Process?" to "The Relevance of Country Size
and Corporate Size" and "Religion and Global Capitalism".
