| The
Israeli Society
for Quality (ISQ) one of the world's leading quality societies,
was established in 1973 to promote the values of quality in Israel.
It is a non-profit organization comprised of about 1,500 quality
professionals including engineers, physicians, educators and managers
drawn from both the business and public sectors. Furthermore, roughly
300 of the country's leading companies are members of the Society.
Bi-annually, ISQ organizes the International Quality Conference.
ISQ, as one of the founders of the International Quality Association
and the Quality Organization of the Middle East and North Africa
chose C.D.I. System's innovative NetIS™
online publishing platform to publish the proceedings of their Twelfth
International Conference.
The Society has a mutual agreement with the European Organization
for Quality (EOQ).
In recognition of the multi-faceted role quality professionals
play in the "quality revolution" and in light of the need
to make society recognize quality as a value concept in which man
is essential to the process, members of ISQ volunteer their efforts
to accomplish the following:
- To spearhead the national effort for the continual improvement
of the quality of life, environment, management and decision making
processes, production and services.
- To create a favorable reputation for Israeli products and services.
- To make a special effort on public awareness by educating the
younger generation and establishing a quality culture in all areas
of Israeli life and society.
- To foster leadership for quality to benefit Israeli organizations.
- To promote quality and to foster the application of the modern
tools of the quality profession in various arenas.
- To increase national and international cooperation for furthering
quality as a strategic objective.
