Systems, a developer of e-publishing solutions, today announced the mass-market release of NetIS™ - the first e-publishing platform that integrates Web Content Management (WCM), Digital Rights Management (DRM) and e-commerce tools. • Flexibility & Personalization – Content vendors can create flexible products based on pre-defined units rather than entire documents, and set fees according to user, content, utilization and delivery form.
• Security – NetIS’ DRM module is transparent and automatically activated only when an end-user attempts to perform a restricted function or access. If lacking sufficient rights the user is then presented with the opportunity to pay the appropriate licensing fee for the desired functionality and access.
• Lower set up costs & integration - Robust capabilities with lower licensing-to-installation cost and an XML-based platform, enable easy deployment and straightforward integration with billing systems.
