NetIS™ version 4.4 now incorporates "NetIS Mobile™" - an innovative and practical extension that allows retrieving information "on the road" as easy as it is from your home or office. NetIS Mobile™ fully supports web enabled mobile devices including: iPhone and iPod Touch, Blackberries, Pocket PC's and Smart phones supporting XHTML or DHTML mobile browsing, with easy to handle mobile templates for quick deployment of Mobile applications.
Furthermore, NetIS™ 4.4 supports 64bit versions of Windows 2003 and SQL 2008; functional enhancements has been done to the Digital Rights Management scheme, allowing the definition of life length of products and restricted versions of files, where valuable information may be hidden, modified or distorted; enriched interface for managing customer purchases and the ability to define fixed royalties, percentage shares for multiple content owners as well as version control, history management and secure offline PDF files.
NetIS 4.4 already proves its high "Return On Investment" with customers' immediate acceptance to adopt NetIS based applications, including the latest adoption of the Responsa project by the US Library of Congress in Washington DC.
