Software company Grierson's has expanded its international network after striking a deal with an Israeli company.
Newcastle-based Grierson's has been acting as a support centre for the digital rights management (DRM) technology developed by CDI Systems of Jerusalem.
The DRM technology is aimed at protecting digital content and works by disabling functions such as printing, copying and saving to ensure that intellectual property such as product documentation and technical specifications can be accessed only by authorised users in a protected environment.
Grierson's specialises in software for the legal profession.
They now have agreements with strategic partners in Jerusalem, Beijing and New Delhi.
