A tie-up with an Israeli company is bearing fruit for Tyneside legal software specialists Grierson's.
The Newcastle-based company is now selling ALLRights software across the UK after linking up with the software's producer, CDI Systems of Jerusalem.
ALLRights protects premium content in a standard web browser, while enabling content owners to control customer privileges and to safeguard web resources against unauthorised access, redistribution and misuse.
The software ensures that standard browsing functions like viewing, printing, copying, saving or screen capturing can be independently granted or denied.
These controlled functions can also be set for a limited time, for example for viewing a document for only 30 seconds prior to purchase.
Grierson's link-up makes them the official re-seller of ALLRights in the UK.
The software is expected to be in demand from companies which need to keep a tight rein on copyright.
Grierson's also has agreements with strategic partners in Beijing and New Delhi.
