June 1st, 2010
E-Book Systems has teamed up with CDI to market NetIS™ to the Chinese ePublishing arena
E-Book Systems, known for its FlipViewerÖ²® software, has partnered with CDI Systems to create a new marketing strategy for licensing and providing SaaS services to major ePublishing clients in China using CDI's NetIS™ platform. E-Book Systems has been operating in China for over seven years with offices in Beijing, Shanghai and other locations.
Richard Wan, CEO of E-Book Systems, noted, "The time to enter the Chinese market with NetIS™ is now. Based on feedback from our existing large publishing clients in China, we clearly see a need for a scalable web content management system to help these publishers organize the large amount of content which they possessed."
CDI Systems and E-Book Systems have also received the SIIRD (Singapore Israel Industrial R&D Foundation - http://www.siird.com/) grant for jointly developing a new technology between the two companies. This joint development will further enhance the competitiveness of both companies.
"We are very pleased to have E-Book Systems as a partner both for the joint technological development as well as our commercial partnership in China," said Itzhak Levit, CEO of CDI Systems. "To enter such a large market as China, it is clear that a partner who is on the ground with years of impressive experience will make all the difference."
