Opening Ceremony of Sino-Israeli Digital Education Park
Anhui/Hefei, China – May 2015
CDI System's CEO Mr. Itzhak Levit was invited to give a lecture in the opening ceremony of the Sino-Israeli Digital Education park in Hefei.
The park is an initiative of Wanxin Media – a large Chinese state-owned cultural enterprise based in Hefei, & Shirat Enterprises - a company with an extensive network of strategic agreements for the promotion of Israeli hi-tech companies in many major cities in China.
The event took place in Hefei - the capital of Anhui province - and was attended by General (ret.) Matan Vilnai - the Israel Ambassador to China, who gave a fascinating lecture about Entebbe operation. Anhui province Vice Governor - Mrs. Wang Cuifen - also attended the event and gave a lecture about the positive and increasing cooperation between the two countries, in many fields, including education.
The list of honored guests included also Mr. Dong Qing – Deputy Director-General of the Propaganda Department CPC Anhui Provincial Committee, Mr. Cao Jie – Chairman of Anhui Xinhua Distribution group and Mr. Wu Wensheng, the General Manager of Anhui Xinhua Distribution group.
Mr. Eliezer Manor, Shirat Enterprises CEO referred in his lecture to the Israeli entrepreneurial spirit and stressed the right routes to enable the efficient technology and knowhow transfer from Israel to China for the benefit of both parties.
Mr. Levit's lecture "From Startup Education to Smartup Education" provided in a nutshell the main challenges related to the shifting process from standard education to digital education, while focusing on the key components of Digital Education – technology, methodology and content.
The Digital Education Park is aiming to provide services to the educational market all across China, based on Israeli innovative technologies and methodologies.
