CDI takes a Major Step into the Spanish & Portuguese Publishing Market September 20th, 2010 - Madrid, SPAIN
CDI Systems is pleased to announce that it has signed Mr. Pedro Loupa as their national distributor for both Spain and Portugal. Mr. Loupa, based in Madrid and originally a native of Portugal, has joined CDI after a two and half years stint with the Chamber of Commerce Catalonia - Israel as their General Manager. Mr. Loupa has a strong technology background specializing in Software Solutions (Security, HR, Monitoring, etc.), including having worked with Tango/04 in Spain, and as Business Partner IBM in various companies throughout Portugal and Mexico. For the last 9 years he is lived and worked in Spain. As publishing houses, legal & medical content owners and others are realizing the need to move into digital content the demand for software that provides both protection and flexible sales models has become greatly in demand in both Spain and Portugal. “There is no doubt that any publishing house that does not have one foot into digital publishing today,” said Mr. Loupa, “has one foot out of the business.” “The need for CDI’s NetIS end2end platform is obvious to anyone in the business,” he added. “Being able to work with CDI on a Saas or joint venture bases, removes the barrier for entry for our new clients. It allows them to come on board without a heavy investment in hard/software.” “We see the Spanish and Portuguese market as a huge opportunity for CDI and are very glad to welcome Mr. Loupa on board,” said CDI’s CEO Mr. Itzhak Levit. “We believe that Spain is a doorway to Latin and South America and Portugal is the same to Brazil. We have already completely formatted our NetIS engine in Spanish.” |
